TMCnet Conferencing Week in Review
From Web chat to telemedicine, news kept coming from the VoIP driven conferencing sector. This past week, with help from Skype (News - Alert), chat software developer Chatwing extended its chat tool to Skype beginners who can find contacts through its versatile and user-friendly web chat app.
According to a report by TMCnet contributor Mini Swamy, installing the chat widget takes a very short time. Users need to register their blog domain names. When this is done, Chatwing can modify the appearance of the widget to synchronize with that of the theme, wrote Swamy. The HTML code that is generated is embedded, and within seconds the widget can be used to chat.
“Using Chatwing, anyone can create a customizable live chat feature in a very short span of time and can use their social media accounts to connect. The latest version is also faster and can accommodate up to 600 active chatters,” wrote Swamy.
